APEI, Inc. is a small R&D firm with annual revenues from federal, state, and private contracts. APEI, Inc. comprises of over 35 employees, including 8 PhD's who are experts in all facets of power electronics engineering.

APEI, Inc. facilities currently include over 17,500 SF of space with state of the art laboratories for research and development and manufacturing. Within the past year APEI, Inc. has built out the manufacturing offices and labs in order to develop their state of the art integrated power module, an R&D 100 award winning product, and many other products the company has been researching and developing.

APEI, Inc. is based out of the Arkansas Technology Research Park. Research Park clients have access to the University of Arkansas' High Density Electronics Center (HiDEC), which is a multimillion dollar advanced packaging center consisting of 4,000 sq. ft. of Class 100 and Class 1000 clean room space. APEI, Inc. is also partnered with the National Center for Reliable Electric Power Transmission (NCREPT), a center established for the purpose of investigating solid-state solutions for the electric power grid including both protection devices as well as energy storage applications.
